Attendance Tracker for Google Meet is an official add-on in the Google Workspace Marketplace. It uses the native Google Meet REST API v2. Unlike outdated Chrome extensions that analyze the DOM or AI note-takers that send external bots into meetings, Attendance Tracker operates directly within the Google Meet side panel without any bots or audio recording.

It automatically records the timestamps of when participants join and leave, even during small calls with fewer than 5 participants. The tool also merges Wi-Fi reconnects and allows you to export attendance lists to Google Sheets, CSV (Canvas/Moodle/Blackboard), or create PDF completion certificates in one click. This is available in 44 languages.
